Spooktacular Halloween Display

Adam was visiting his grandparents this weekend and their neighbors have quite the Halloween display in their yard. Adam had to get a closer look.

Hanging with the Knippel's

Never a dull moment at the Knippel house. Adam enjoyed an action-packed morning. Kipper and Tommy are so good with the little ones and Charlotte was full of smiles for us (except when the camera came out).

Playing in the Leaves

After the football game, we took advantage of another gorgeous fall day. Adam loves playing in the leaves, or at least trying to eat them.

Football Party

Mommy and Daddy had a football party today. I got to play with Jaxon, Madison, and Paige.

Despite our best efforts to cheer the Vikings on, they could not pull out the win. There's always next week...

Eight Months Old

Adam is growing up before our eyes. Where did our baby go? Here are the highlights at month eight:
  • Adam cut four teeth last month. He now has two on the bottom and four on top. They are very sharp! He still bites on everything (including us) to soothe his gums and he drools constantly.
  • Adam crawls army style, but he much prefers walking to crawling. He loves to hold onto our hands and lead us around the house, even up and down the stairs.
  • He has tried lots of different foods and we can't get him to open his mouth for any of them for more than one bite. He likes the puffs that he can feed himself, so maybe we'll try to give him table food next.
  • He has been named "Momma's Boy" by his dad. In the last month especially, Adam has been showing a strong preference for his mom.
  • Adam loves being outside. He also loves trying to pull himself up on objects or climbing on anything he can.

Park

We headed back to Teddy Bear Park today. Adam's cousin Soren enjoyed playing on all of the slides (as did his grandparents and aunt). Adam will have so much fun next summer when he can run around like his cousin was.
